Interview with SRF: A Moment of Recognition and Hope

On May 1st, Samira, Lena, and I, Mahbube, of Wild Flower sat down for an interview with Iwan Santoro from SRF. For me, having undergone numerous interviews as a refugee seeking asylum in Switzerland, it was a familiar experience, devoid of stress.

The significance of being recognized by a prestigious organization like SRF was deeply felt by us, validating our journey and efforts. Representing ourselves to a wider audience through SRF was an opportunity to share our stories and inspire empathy and support from others. We hoped to ignite a spark of action, encouraging individuals to extend a helping hand and foster inclusivity. The interview served as a platform to amplify our voices and bridge the gap between communities.

For Wild Flower, it was a moment of pride and gratitude, seeing our efforts acknowledged on such a platform. As we shared our experiences, we aimed to cultivate understanding and compassion among listeners. Please have a listen to interview down below! It was a very fulfilling experience and we hope to garner support for our cause.
